Kayaking is easy to learn, great for fitness and affordable. There is no better way to get out on the water and enjoy the harbour. Book your 60 minute paddle and a lesson now. Everything you need is provided.

What to Wear

Sports type clothing and in cooler weather warm layers and a jacket – be prepared to get wet so maybe a change of clothes. a wet Suit is an advantage. [/tab]

Weather information

This course is weather dependent. We will go on-the-water if it is safe to do so, but if it too windy, too wet or too cold, then we might have to cancel or reschedule.[/tab]

Please note this course has a minimum of 3 people. If we fail to reach this number we will reschedule your session or offer a refund.

Minimum Age

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when participating in programmes or activities at the Wellington Ocean Sports Centre. Children aged 12 years and over can participate in SUP and kayaking. They must be actively supervised by a parent or guardian. Children aged 6 years and over can accompany an adult on a tandem kayak.
