This week the timber floor at Wellington Oceans Sports is being repaired, sanded and polyurethaned thanks to funding from New Zealand Community Trust. This is a continuation of the building restoration work they have supported in order to ensure Wellington Ocean Sports is fit for purpose and a quality regional training base we can be proud of.
This week the timber floor at Wellington Oceans Sports is being repaired, sanded and polyurethaned thanks to funding from New Zealand Community Trust. This is a continuation of the building restoration work they have supported in order to ensure Wellington Ocean Sports is fit for purpose and a quality regional training base we can be proud of.
Other work supported by NZCT has included replacement of dangerous ceiling tiles, new carpet, heat pumps and replacement of the rotten front door. This together with the support we have received from the Infinity Foundation for much needed boat maintence work will ensure the Wellington Ocean Sports is in a position to continue to deliver our much needed safe boating programmes and learn to sail course for many years to come.
