We have a Racing Crew Course starting the weekend of the 18th, November and this will run for four Saturdays, and courses running in January and February 2018
This course should be viewed as a development course which adds to your confidence and skills not only for those who have completed a learn to sail course, but for sailors wanted to fine tune their racing knowledge.
The Racing Crew course provides an opportunity to revise and consolidate the knowledge and skills you have already gained, as well as learning about sailing with spinnakers, and introducing you to yacht racing. The course forms part of the Yachting NZ National Sailing Scheme and on completion participants will be awarded a YNZ National Sailing Scheme Level 2 Basic Skills (Racing Crew) Certificate.
With the new fully battened sails the boats are more competitive and offer a quality learning experience, continue the next certificate of racing and get involved.
